About the Role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Dickson, Tennessee.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in LDRP with 9 beds, OBED with 1 bed, NICU with 4 beds, and 1 OR suite
- Maintain patient ratios: 1:1 for active labors, inductions, and C-sections; couplet care 1:3; newborns 1:1 until stable; NICU 1:3 for intermediate care (with 2 NICU nurses required in unit if patients are present)
- Document using Meditech and CPN systems
- Perform daily rounding on all patients and SAFETY rounding
- Float to other units within the facility as needed when not required on assigned unit
- Work full-time 3 shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays; PRN shifts to complete

Unit Details
- No unit secretaries or techs available
- Equipment: CPN Central monitoring, IV pumps, infant warmers, tele-med robot for neonatologist, bili-blankets, PCA pumps
- Some staff are cross-trained to float between LDRP and NICU
