Travel Labor and Delivery RN - $2,314 per week

About the role

A central CT hospital is seeking a travel RN to assist in the Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit. The hospital is known for its level 2 nursery and averages approximately 1300 births annually, with 18 out of 23 rooms capable of delivering babies. The position does not involve scrubbing in for C-sections.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the care of laboring mothers and newborns
• Monitor fetal heart tones and other vital signs
• Administer medications and fluids as necessary
• Prepare delivery rooms and equipment
• Document patient progress and treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred
• Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and nights

Qualifications

• Passport required for international travel
• Willingness to relocate for the duration of the assignment
