Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,280 per week

About the role

Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, providing specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery department of a surgical and maternal health facility. The role involves caring for maternal and newborn patients, adhering to clinical standards, and supporting patient safety and comfort throughout the birthing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for labor, delivery, mother/baby, pediatric, and gynecology patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using Philips fetal monitors with OB Trave Vue EHR.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, follow clinical standards, and respond to changes in acuity.
• Work in a 143‑bed acute care facility with unit composition: 3 L&D beds, 4 triage beds, 2 antepartum beds, 10 postpartum/gyn/peds beds.

Requirements

• Valid RN licensure in North Carolina.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including charge nurse experience.
