Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,245 per week

About the role

The organization is seeking a Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse for a position located in Dallas, TX. This role involves providing high-risk obstetrical care in a high-volume, high-acuity environment, primarily focusing on patient safety and comfort during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The position is for a Travel RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D) with experience in high-risk obstetrics, circulating in cesarean sections, and recovering high acuity patients in a labor and delivery unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk obstetrical care in a high-volume, high-acuity setting
• Focus on patient safety and comfort during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Circulate in cesarean sections
• Recover high acuity patients

Requirements

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of high-risk obstetrical experience
• Experience with high-risk OB patients
• Certification in AWHONN fetal monitoring
• Relevant clinical training

Skills & Certifications

• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification
• Experience with vaginal deliveries
• Experience with cesarean sections
• Experience with D&C procedures
• Experience with postpartum recovery

Additional Information

• Unit is a high-risk obstetrical department with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
• Equipped with GE fetal monitors and Meditech documentation system
• Floating to antepartum unit may be required as needed
• Dress code: appropriate scrubs; nails clean with no artificial enhancements; hair tied back if shoulder-length; tattoos covered if possible; visible piercings other than ears prohibited

Schedule

3‑12 hour night shifts, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., minimum 36 hours per week.
