Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,108 per week
Job Description
Fusion Medical Staffing is recruiting a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Lone Tree, Colorado. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts immediately.
Requirements
- One year's recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN
- Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification
Qualifications
- AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification
- STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA / ARC)
Essential Work Functions
- Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Prepare equipment and aid physician during labor, delivery, and examination
- Provide immediate postpartum care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Respond to obstetric emergencies
- Document patient care accurately
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
- Absorb and assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
- Comply with regulatory standards
Required Essential Skills
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
- The ability to read/write in the English language
- Ability to read/write and communicate verbally
- Read and comprehend written instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills
Physical Abilities
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position
- Move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend
Interpersonal Skills
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally
- Must be able to work without assistance from other personnel
- Must be able to cope with irregular activity schedules occasionally
- Must be able to concentrate continuously to detail
