Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,050 per week
About the Role
Travel nursing position for an RN specializing in Labor and Delivery at Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center in Panama City, Florida. This assignment is for 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek, 12-hour day shifts, and travel employment type.
Unit Specifics
- 10 LDR beds
- Patient ratios: 2:1
- 24/7 unit secretaries and obstetric tech availability
- Equipment: Stryker and Hill Rom birthing beds, Alaris IV pumps, GE fetal monitors
- Documentation systems: CPN and Meditech
- Scheduling: Every other weekend and at least one summer holiday
- Floating policy: May float as a tech or sitter throughout the hospital
- Patient experience requirements: HCAHPS
Responsibilities
- Perform procedures such as vaginal exams and speculum exams
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart rates using advanced fetal monitoring skills
Requirements
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring or C-EFM certification (required)
- Preferred: C-EFM certification
