Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $1,991 per week

About the role

A Labor and Delivery Nurse provides care and support for women during labor and childbirth. Responsibilities include monitoring mother and baby before, during, and after birth, and assisting throughout the process, including during delivery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient safety and comfort
• Monitor vital signs and fetal heart tones
• Administer medications as ordered
• Prepare for and assist with deliveries
• Document patient progress and interventions
• Provide emotional support to patients and families

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in Labor and Delivery preferred

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills
