About the role
American Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a contract assignment in Salem, Virginia. The position is 13 weeks long, 36 hours per week, and 12 hours per shift. The start date is ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive postpartum and newborn care
- Support labor and delivery processes
- Assist with cesarean sections and OBED triage
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment for mothers and infants
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an RN in obstetrics
- BLS, ACLS, NRP & AWHONN certifications
- Experience with cesarean section procedures (circulator, 1st assist, scrub)
- Valid RN license in Virginia or willingness to obtain
Qualifications
- Willingness to obtain State licensure

Pay
The pay range is discussed with the recruiter. The contract length is 13 weeks, and the schedule is 7:00PM - 7:00AM (12 hours).
