Labor and Delivery RN Gallatin, TN. Start date: 11/01/2026; duration: 13 weeks. This travel nursing assignment seeks a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join the team for a temporary assignment. The role involves providing care for maternity women and newborns, with responsibilities including fetal monitoring, assisting with c‑sections, and circulating duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for maternity women and newborns
• Perform fetal monitoring
• Assist with cesarean sections
• Perform circulating duties
• Use OB Tracevue for charting strips
• Facility performs its own cesarean sections; candidate expected to circulate

Requirements

• Active RN licensure in Tennessee
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Labor and Delivery experience
• Preferred: PALS certification
• Preferred: Centricity experience
• Preferred: Meditech experience
• Unit has 5 Labor & Delivery beds; patient ratio 1:1 on Pitocin, 1:2 otherwise
• Positive attitude, cooperative, initiative

Schedule

Nights, 12‑hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
