Travel Nurse RN - Interventional Radiology - $3,581 per week

TotalMed is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Unit details

• Unit: IR RN
• Start date: September 27, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10-hour days
• EMR: EPIC
• Patient types: All adults, no pediatrics

Required experience & certifications

• 1 year of IR RN experience required
• Will accept first-time travelers as long as they have IR experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

Procedures performed

• General IR: Kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty (not performed at night), central lines/PICCs/ports, fistulograms, IVC filter placement, nephrostomy tubes, nephroureteral stents, peripheral leg cases, coil embolization, thoracentesis/paracentesis
• CT Room supported by IR: cryoablation, CT biopsies, drains, etc. (not performed at night)
• Neuro IR (required for RN; send for manager approval if RT does not have Neuro experience): strokes, embolization, DSA, WADA test, spinal angiograms (not performed at night)
• AAA intervention experience preferred

Skills required

• Experience with the above patient populations and procedures
• Will administer sedation unless anesthesia is involved
• Monitoring and charting responsibilities
