Travel Nurse RN - Interventional Radiology - $3,312 per week
About the role
Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a 12-week assignment starting August 10, 2026, at a 933-bed medical center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The position involves working 36 hours per week, 12 hours per shift, and 40-50 patients per day. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, offering state-of-the-art equipment and support services.
Responsibilities
- Treat adult patients only, no pediatrics
- Perform and assist with General IR procedures including kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty, central line/PICCs/ports, fistulograms, IVC filter placement, nephrostomy tubes, nephroureteral stents, peripheral leg cases, coil embolization, and thoracentesis/paracentesis
- CT Room procedures include cryos, CT biopsies, and drains (not performed at night)
- Administer sedation unless anesthesia is involved, and monitor and chart patient care
- General IR shift times: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; Neuro shift times: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Manager is open to altering shift times (e.g., five 8-hour shifts can be changed to four 10-hour shifts or two 8s and two 12s)
- Weekday on-call: 1 call shift per week, end of shift until following morning at 7:00 AM
- Weekend on-call: Once every 5th or 6th weekend, end of shift Friday until Monday at 7:00 AM
- Call response time: 30 minutes
- No floating to other units
- Orientation with a preceptor for 1-2 weeks with check-off
- Up to 7 days of RTO can be approved
- Scrubs provided
- Free parking in parking structure with badge access required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
- IV pumps: Alaris; Medication dispensing: Pyxis; PACS: Change Healthcare
- Siemens and GE equipment experience preferred; Injector: MedRad
- Other equipment includes IVUS, Ultrasound (GE), Laser, Bovie, and Angiojet (experience not required)
- Minimum 1 year of experience accepted provided IR experience is held
- First-time travelers accepted with IR experience
Qualifications
- Neuro IR experience required for RN; procedures include strokes and embolization
- AAA intervention experience preferred
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- EPIC EMR experience preferred

Pay
The estimated gross weekly pay is $3312, with an additional $500 contract completion bonus. The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours, days, with a start date of August 10, 2026. The schedule includes weekday on-call and weekend on-call rotations.
