About the role
Travel nursing position in the Radiology Department in New York, NY. This role involves providing safe, competent, and patient-centered care within a radiology setting. The Clinical Nurse will collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes, educate patients and families, and adhere to institutional standards related to radiology procedures and safety.
Schedule
- 07:30 AM – 04:00 PM
- Minimum of 37.5 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts, days
Responsibilities
- Perform duties in a radiology department, including patient monitoring and radiation safety
- Assist with imaging procedures
- Coordinate patient throughput
- Document clinical activities thoroughly and accurately in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Contribute to a collaborative and safety-focused environment
- Support continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2 years of ambulatory and radiation safety experience
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- 1 year of travel experience (for travel positions)
- EPIC experience highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac CT certification
- Cardiology experience
- Patient Monitoring certification
- Radiology certifications
