Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• 1 year of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Meditech experience

Unit Information

• Typically 10 staff members per shift: 3-4 technologists, 3-4 registered nurses, 1 scheduler/coordinator per shift
• Procedures include biopsies, drain and line insertions, angiograms, peripheral vascular procedures, paracenteses, thoracentesis, and support for imaging procedures such as CT, MRI, and coronary imaging
• RN staff are not required to scrub cases
• No float requirements are expected, but assistance in CT, MRI, or Radiology may be needed occasionally
