Travel Nurse RN - Interventional Radiology - $2,519 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a quality Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

Requirements

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Interventional Radiology setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide critical nursing care to the cardiac patient while assisting the Interventional Radiologist, Vascular Surgeon, and Endovascular Neurosurgeon in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Prepare patients for procedures
• Provide education to the patient and family members
• Insert and remove intravenous lines
• Administer medication including moderate sedation
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patient before, during, and after procedures
• Provide post-procedure monitoring
