Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Intermediate CareDiscipline: RNStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelJob Description : - Position: Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) - Shift: Night shift, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (block scheduling not guaranteed) - Location: Local candidates preferred (within 75 miles), local pay rates apply - Experience Required: Minimum 2 years IMCU/PCU experience, travel experience documented - Licensure: Active NY RN license, all RN licenses verified via NURSYS - Certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required - EMR Experience: Proficiency with EPIC EMR required - Floating: Required to float as needed - Unit Details: - 64 beds total, including 15 designated Neuro beds - Patient population: Adults (18+ years) - Common diagnoses: Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, Cardio-vascular stepdown, post-op - Specialty equipment: Temp pacer, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo - Ventilator care: Chronic vents (unable to wean), respiratory therapy support available - Other Requirements: - Skills checklist matching specialty - Valid driver’s license with address matching demographics - All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of applicationMed Ninjas Job ID #19170.
