Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care - $2,535 per week
ND Global Consulting Services is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Intermediate Care position in Utica, New York.
About the role
Join us in Utica, New York, as a Registered Nurse specializing in Intermediate Care. This night shift position (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) offers 36 guaranteed hours per week, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care. The unit handles diverse cases, including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions such as COPD, DKA, sepsis, and post-operative recovery. With 64 beds, including 15 designated for neuro care, you'll be working in a dynamic and supportive environment. Floating may be required, and candidates should be comfortable with chronic ventilator patients and specialty equipment like temporary pacers, chest tubes, and A-lines. Navy blue scrubs are the preferred attire.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-acuity patient care in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/PCU).
- Manage diverse cases including neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions.
- Operate and monitor specialty equipment such as temporary pacers, chest tubes, and A-lines.
- Care for chronic ventilator patients.
- Float to other units as required.
Requirements
- Active RN license.
- Strong background in IMCU/PCU.
- Comfort with high-acuity patient care.
