Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care - $2,376 per week

About the role

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a 12-hour night shift position at a 12-bed ICU and 23-bed Med Surg unit in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The position will last 8 weeks and includes a $500 contract completion bonus.

Responsibilities

• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Manage primary patients and insulin drips with a patient ratio of 4:1
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Fast-paced, independent, and adaptable work style
• Treat stable, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients
• Work in a Med Surg Intermediate Care/Telemetry unit

Requirements

• Associate Degree or Certificate in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Stepdown/Intermediate Care/PCU
• At least one completed travel contract required
• WI or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC)

• Must be a fast-paced, independent worker who is resilient and manages change well
