About the role

Infusion Nurse position in Iowa providing infusion therapy, including chemotherapy, within an outpatient setting. The role requires hands-on clinical care, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Schedule

• Day shift, 10 hours per day
• Minimum of 40 hours per week
• Night/day orientation sessions on 08/31 and 09/01, with the 08/31 start date prioritized

Responsibilities

• Provide infusion therapy, including chemotherapy, in an outpatient setting
• Adhere to clinical protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare teams

Requirements

• 24 months of current infusion therapy experience in outpatient, hospital, or medical center settings
• Chemotherapy experience preferred
• EPIC electronic medical record system experience
• Active Iowa license or multistate RN license
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC
• Valid driver’s license
• Professional references from within the past 24 months
• First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years infusion experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Infusion experience in chemotherapy
• Experience working in outpatient, hospital, or medical center environments

Additional Information

• Candidate interviews will be conducted via phone or text from a 405 area code
• Unit includes infusion centers within a Methodist Lutheran setting
• Bed size: 16, patient ratio: 1:3
