Job Summary
This role involves working in a busy ICU environment with a focus on patient care for neuro, trauma, surgical, and medical patients. The shift schedule is nights, from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Certifications: Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- New York license and all other active RN licenses
- Up-to-date resume showing 2+ years of ICU experience with documented travel experience
- Valid drivers license matching demographics
- Experience with Electronic Patient Records (EHR) system EPIC
- Must have ICU experience with CRRT and Prismaflex
- 4-5 years of ICU experience preferred, 2 years minimum
- Must include requests for time off (RTO) at submission
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with heart-related cases is highly preferred
Additional Information
- Floating to all units except Behavioral and Emergency Room (unless holding) is required
- The unit has 42 beds with various specialties including neuro, surgical, trauma, and cardiology
- Use of specialty equipment such as IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Artic Sun) is common
- Floater rotation may be required
- Scrub Color: Navy

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
