Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,435 per week

Job Summary

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide care for neuro-critical and general medical patients in a fast-paced, Level II Trauma Center environment. Based in RENO, NV, the nurse will deliver comprehensive patient care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations in a multidisciplinary setting, utilizing advanced clinical skills and adhering to established standards of practice. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-acuity unit dedicated to clinical excellence and patient safety.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, scheduled to vary based on department needs, including weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.

Required Qualifications

• NV Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start;
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required;
• Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU experience, specifically caring for Neuro Trauma and post Neuro-surgery patients.
• Experience caring for post Alteplase and/or post Thrombectomy patients is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience caring for post neurosurgical patients with external ventricular drains is desirable.
