Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,452 per week

About the Role

Travel RN ICU position with Prime Time Healthcare Nursing at Wesley Medical Center, Coronary Care Unit, Wichita, KS. This is a 13‑week assignment working 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts (7 PM–7 AM). The unit has 26 beds with a 1:2 patient‑to‑RN ratio and uses the Meditech EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for coronary and cardiac critical‑care patients, including post‑cardiac catheterization care.
• Manage intra‑aortic balloon pump, balloon pump, CRRT, and targeted‑temperature‑management therapies.
• Perform cardioversion, central‑line management, and titratable medication drips.
• Collaborate with a staffing model of 13 bedside RNs, one charge nurse, and one patient‑care technician per shift.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Strong cardiac critical‑care and medication‑drip experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with Meditech EMR.
• Prior travel assignment experience.
• Experience working in a large hospital ICU.
• Experience with balloon pump, CRRT, and targeted‑temperature‑management.
