Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,448 per week

About the role

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Minocqua, Wisconsin.

Facility: This acute care facility operates a combined MS/ICU/IMC unit with 20 beds, providing comprehensive inpatient care across medical-surgical, intermediate care, and intensive care settings.

Location: Minocqua is a picturesque lakeside community in northern Wisconsin, known as the "Island City" for its stunning lake surroundings and abundant outdoor recreation opportunities.

Responsibilities

Night shift position working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Every other weekend required

Every other holiday required

On-call requirement exists if census is low, placed in rotation - rare cancellations

Floating required inhouse to ED, UC, and PACU as needed, as well as interfacility to Park Falls and Weston

ICU experience with pediatric experience strongly preferred

Must be able to titrate drips including Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, PCA Fentanyl, Propofol, and Norepinephrine

Must be able to read rhythm strips and report findings to providers as needed; telemetry monitored remotely by tele techs

Requirements

• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• PALS (AHA) certification required
• 1-2 days of on-shift orientation plus 1 day of computer-based training and hospital orientation
• Must clock in and out at the facility
• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are considered local

Qualifications

ICU experience with pediatric experience strongly preferred
