Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,448 per week

About the Role

Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Work 12-hour variable day and night shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement, with additional holidays available if willing
• No on-call or standby requirement
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with 1:1 for higher acuity patients
• Provide care in a 16-bed Medical ICU unit
• Manage common diagnoses including respiratory, stroke, neurological, gastrointestinal, and cardiac conditions
• Titrate drips including propofol, precedex, vasopressors, and all standard ICU drips
• Perform rhythm interpretation and read own patient monitor strips
• Work with respiratory therapy equipment including ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, vapotherm, trachs, and nitric
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy support available 24/7 in the ICU
• Utilize one nurse aide available per unit to support nursing staff
• Float to like units or serve as patient observers within the hospital as needed (agency staff are first to float)
• Participate in self-scheduling (agency staff are last to submit hours; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed)
• Chart in Cerner

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel experience
• Cerner experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS

Facility Information

This acute care facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center offering comprehensive inpatient services across multiple specialty units. The Medical ICU operates with a team-based approach, supported by two pulmonologists serving as attending physicians with resident teams during the day and one team overnight. The facility utilizes Cerner as its electronic health record system and maintains high standards of patient care with robust respiratory therapy and monitoring support available around the clock.

Pay

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2448. $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Start Date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week. Shift: 12 hours, rotating. One day of hospital orientation followed by two days of unit orientation. No specific scrub color required; clean and professional appearance expected.
