Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,379 per week
About the role
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for adult patients in an inpatient environment. This role requires competency in delivering care aligned with the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
This is a travel nursing position located in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, with a contract duration of 13 weeks and a schedule of 12-hour night shifts (36 hours per week). Floating may be required as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult ICU patients.
- Deliver care in alignment with ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of RN ICU/Critical Care experience.
- Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent.
- AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or an AHA-approved equivalent.
Qualifications
- Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Preferred: Minimum of two years of Intensive Care Nursing experience.
