Unit description

18 bed ICU with surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure and sepsis patients.

Clinical responsibilities

• Advanced hemodynamic monitoring
• ICP Monitoring (SICU/NCCU)
• Ventilated patients
• Pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
• Assist with line insertion and maintenance
• Lines/tubes/drains for post surgical patients
• Ventriculostomies, Lumbar Drains, Bolts, EVD (SICU/NCCU/PICU)
• PA lines and waveform interpretation (CVCC)
