Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,309 per week

Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit | Discipline: RN | Duration: 13 weeks | 36 hours per week

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts (days or nights)

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Neuro ICU setting
• Perform comprehensive assessments, including thorough neurological assessments
• Care for hemodynamically unstable patients
• Manage mechanically ventilated patients
• Float to other inpatient areas when home unit census is low

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in ICU nursing
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Neuro ICU experience
• EKG test required
• Must-have skills:
  • Neuro ICU experience
  • Comprehensive assessment skills
  • Care of hemodynamically unstable patients
  • Care of mechanically ventilated patients
  • Thorough neurological assessment skills
• Preferred skills/experience:
  • Pupillometer
  • EVD (External Ventricular Drain)
  • ICP (Intracranial Pressure) waveform management
  • CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
  • Epic EMR system

• Patient types: Ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, post-op craniotomy, seizures, encephalopathy, neurologic tumors
