Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,268 per week
About the Role
This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Portage, Wisconsin, with an ASAP start date. The position offers 12-hour day shifts and 36 guaranteed hours per week (guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation week).
- Weekend requirements: 2 weekends out of 4 as needed; weekends are Saturday and Sunday
- Holiday rotation required; observed holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
- Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview locations
- No on-call or back-up requirements; additional shifts may be available to pick up for sick calls
- Primary unit is a medical/surgical ICU with a case mix including joint replacements and general surgical patients
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Will not accommodate more than 7 days of requested time off
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in a 11-bed medical/surgical ICU
- Float to nearby affiliated sites as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Med/Surg experience required
- Travel experience required
- Must be ICU and Med/Surg competent
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC certifications required)
- Wisconsin RN license required
- Associate Degree or Certificate required
- Scrub color: Dark blue

Pay
Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,268 plus a $500 contract completion bonus. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipends available for lodging, meals, and incidentals.
