Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,257 per week

About the Role

Travel RN – ICU position in Grafton, Wisconsin. Specialty: Intensive Care Unit. Start date: October 5 2026. Assignment length: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Ventilator and tracheostomy management
• Invasive line management (arterial line, CVP, Swan‑Ganz)
• Drain and tube management, including chest tubes
• Foley catheter management
• Post‑surgical recovery care
• Post‑catheterization care
• Fresh heart patient care (preferred)
• Continuous venovenous hemofiltration (CVVH)
• Balloon pump support
• Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) using NxStage

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience (preference for CRRT experience)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (NIHSS preferred)

Qualifications

• Ability to float to intermediate units (1:3), medical‑surgical unit, ED boarding (1:4), and observation units (1:4)
• Experience caring for a broad range of patient types:
  • General: COVID‑19, sepsis, alcohol intoxication, IV drug abuse, overdose, suicidal ideation, delirium, gastrointestinal bleed, stroke with tPA, acute respiratory failure
  • Surgical: general surgery, open abdominal cases, orthopaedic joint replacements, ENT, obstetrics/gynecology
  • Cardiac/vascular: femoral‑popliteal bypass, CABG, valve procedures, post‑catheterization (radial approach), abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, amputations
