Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,240 per week

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse position in a hospital setting. This role involves providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, performing comprehensive assessments, and supporting clinical operations in a high acuity step-down unit. The position requires specialized skills in emergency equipment operation, patient assessment, and documentation, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments
• Support pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments and education
• Ensure safety protocols are followed, including universal protocols and patient identifiers
• Operate emergency equipment
• Evaluate pre-admission testing orders for accuracy and completeness
• Provide individualized patient care based on diagnoses and procedural requirements
• Maintain strong documentation skills

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Valid RN license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year ICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high acuity settings
• Familiarity with surgical patient care
• Proficiency with emergency equipment
• Strong documentation skills
• Knowledge of patient education, safety protocols, and pre-admission testing procedures

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Minimum of 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
