Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,226 per week

About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 21-week assignment in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Unit "ICU Float (Combination: MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU, etc.)"
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, nights
• May be asked to float into any other acuity level
• May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation
• Radiology Technician (RT) in ICU 24/7
• May be asked to read and interpret tele monitors
• May be asked to assist in troubleshooting and managing respiratory needs
• May be asked to assist with scrub color/dress code

Requirements

• 2 years of ICU experience
• Prior travel experience preferred (3+ years with Epic experience for 1st time travelers)
• BLS, ACLS certifications
• Comfortable titrating critical drips
• No charge nurse takes a patient assignment
• May be asked to assist with scrub color/dress code

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Experience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, high flow
• Ability to interpret tele monitors

Pay

Estimated pay package based on bill rate at time job was posted. Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers.

Schedule

7-7, Schedule is made out by leadership for 6 wks at a time, travelers are expected to be flexible and help to fill gaps in permanent scheduling. All time off requests need to be submitted prior to starting assignment.

Weekend & Holiday Requirements

• 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule
• May be asked to go into the Holiday Rotation

Call/Standby Requirement

• Rare, for low census

Floating Requirements

• May be asked to float into any other acuity level
• ICU, PCU/Stepdown, & MS-Tele
• May be asked to float between all hospitals in the zone including: Holy Cross Davis, Holy Cross Jordan Valley, Holy Cross Jordan Valley West, Holy Cross Salt Lake, Holy Cross Mountain Point (Region based out of Salt Lake City, UT)
