Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,218 per week

About the role

Travel nursing position at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a 13-week contract assignment with 12-hour day shifts (3x12 hour shifts per week, including weekday and weekend rotation). The unit is a mixed acuity ICU combining Medical ICU (24 beds) and Progressive Care/PCU (12 beds).

Responsibilities

• Care for ventilated patients
• Initiate and titrate IV drips (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics)
• Assist with intubations and line placements
• Charting via Epic
• Float to all ICUs, PCU, and Med-Surg units while maintaining a max 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio

Requirements

• Minimum 1.5 to 2 years of ICU experience (Level 1 or Level 2 facility experience preferred; travel experience preferred)
• Active Indiana RN license
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only)
