About the role
NURSE's Etc. Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment starting September 7, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in an ICU setting
- Document patient care using EPIC
- Manage crisis prevention intervention (CPI) training
- Work 12-hour shifts, nights
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- 2 years of RN experience required
- ICU experience preferred
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
- CPI certification (12-month blue card)
- Must not have worked at any Ochsner facility in the past year
- Must live 65+ miles from the facility
Qualifications
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Skills
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
