Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $2,064 per week

About the role

The Intensive Care Unit is an 18-bed unit, providing care for patients with the following conditions, but not limited to: Heart Failure, Stroke with TNKase administration, Severe Sepsis, Septic Shock, Renal Failure, Hemo-dialysis, Mechanical Ventilation/CPAP/BIPAP/Tracheotomy.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients with various medical conditions in an intensive care setting.
• Provide critical care services including mechanical ventilation, tracheostomy care, and hemodialysis.
• Perform IV insertions and manage ventilator settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or a compact state.
• One year and six months of recent ICU experience.
• Experience with IV insertion and mechanical ventilation.
• Knowledge of BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Experience with dialysis (peritoneal/CRRT/CVVHD).

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN.

Pay

Pay rate: $2012.00 - $2115.00 per shift.

Schedule

Shift: 12 hours, nights.
