About the role
Norwich, Connecticut is located at the convergence of the Thames, Yantic and Shetucket rivers, offering a unique natural beauty with a quaint, uninterrupted natural landscape. It is situated in the southeastern section of the state and is known as the "Rose of New England."
Responsibilities
- Work in a dual level of care unit (telemetry and PCU), as well as a primary stroke center.
- Manage a unit of 25 beds, with 9 of those being in the PCU level of care.
- Expected ratios for all shifts are 1:5-6 on the floor side and 1:3 for the PCU.
- Primary diagnoses include chest pain, strokes, respiratory failure, and sepsis.
- Experience in a critical care setting, specifically in the CCU or ICU, is preferred.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in good standing.
- At least 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
- Current certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS.
- 36 hours of work required per week.
- 12-hour shifts available.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Knowledge of critical care procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay
The pay rate is $2012.00 - $2116.00 per shift, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 12 hours long and occur on nights.
