Submission Requirements

• Education Required: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

• Work Experience Required: 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. ICU Experience, EPIC documentation

• Certifications Required: Current RN License in the state of practice, Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification - 12 month blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute

• PREFERRED: Certification in clinical specialty area

• Additional Requirements: Must live 65+ miles from facility. Must not have been employed by any Ochsner facility within the past year.

Pay package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
