Unit Information
- ICU with 24 beds
- Staffing of 46 team members
- Patient ratios: 1:2 (1:3 for progressive care unit boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher-acuity patients such as those on intra-aortic balloon pumps, continuous renal replacement therapy, or post-open heart surgery)
Schedule
Days with a shift duration of 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid ACLS certification
- Two years of ICU experience preferred, with consideration for candidates with at least one year of strong ICU experience
- Current licensure in Utah or eligible for licensure
- Previous experience with ventilators, central line placement, arterial lines, bronchoscopy, intubation, chest tube placement
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC)
Additional Information
- The unit employs a documentation system through EPIC
- Staffing may include a CCT/US during day shifts if patient load allows
- Floating policy permits working in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or as a sitter in any inpatient area of the hospital
- Dress Code: Scrubs in Caribbean Blue
- Three weekend shifts within a four-week period are required

Pay Package
Based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
