HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas.

Assignment Details

• Shift: 12 hours, days, nights (7P-7:30A)
• Weekend: Rotating
• Call Requirements: No
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years or more ICU experience
• Strong critical thinking skills
• ACLS
• BLS
• NIH Stroke Certification
• Active TX RN License – TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Preferred Qualifications

• MICU & MSICU background
• IABP exposure
• CRRT exposure
• Meditech experience preferred

Procedures Performed on Unit

• Chest tubes, trachs, GI scopes
• Intubations, central lines, art lines
• NG Tubes, Foley Catheters, Dressing Changes

Dress Code

• Scrub Color: RN – Navy scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
• Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy
• Hair – neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors; beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
• Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible; body art not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited

Unit Policies

• All travelers are required to float
• Floating Guidelines per Methodist Acknowledgement Form
• Attendance Policies
• Badging in and out for shift is required along with taking a full 30-minute lunch
• Be on time for scheduled shifts (Clock in time 6:38 am/pm; after 6:45 is considered tardy)
