Requirements

• All RNs must have BLS, ACLS completed prior to end of orientation

• PCT/NAs are required to have BLS

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting

• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as ordered

• Assist with procedures such as IV starts, Foley catheters, and EKG monitoring

• Collaborate with healthcare team members during patient care discussions

• Maintain proper documentation in EMR and ensure safety protocols are followed
