Travel Nurse RN - ICU

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit
• Evaluate and monitor critically ill patients
• Administer medications
• Interpret diagnostic tests
• Manage medical equipment
• Communicate patient conditions to families
• Support physician-directed care
• Document treatments
• Assist with patient education

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience
• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• NIH certification
• TNCC certification
• Additional certifications may be required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work with potentially hazardous materials or infectious diseases

Key Duties

• Deliver bedside care
• Manage medications
• Oversee diagnostic procedures
• Interpret lab and electronic data
• Ensure equipment functionality
• Support patient families

Schedule

This role offers a 12-hour night shift, 48 hours per week, with a focus on delivering high-quality ICU care in a fast-paced environment.
