About the role
A Registered First Nurse Assistant (RNFAs) is an important part of the operating room team. They are highly trained to both scrub and circulate. Their responsibilities include taking a hands-on role during surgical procedures to control bleeding, suture incisions, and manage complications. First Nurse Assists must be able to stay calm under pressure and work collaboratively with the operating room team.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- At least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Experience as a First Nurse Assistant (RNFAs).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current BLS certification.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 10 hours, days.
