About the role
Trustaff is seeking a travel nurse RN First Assist for a travel nursing job in Northampton, Massachusetts.
Responsibilities
- Performing First Assist duties in the operating room under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.
- Assisting with surgical procedures as directed by the surgeon.
- Ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.
- Current certification as a Certified First Assistant (CFA) or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience as a registered nurse in an operating room setting.
Qualifications
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Pass a background check.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of sterile technique and operating room protocols.

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
