Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,937 per week
About the Role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for Endoscopy to join one of our top healthcare clients in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This is a 13-week assignment starting on 08/24/2026, with 40 hours per week on day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessment/data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focusing on physiologic, psychobiologic, and cognitive needs of the patient/family.
- Utilize assessment data in formulating nursing diagnoses.
- Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic Endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe working practices.
- Maintain personal contact with patients and relatives, ensuring courtesy, dignity, privacy, and a friendly environment.
- Store, check, and administer medication in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
- Maintain timely and accurate nursing records, ensuring confidentiality.
- Work with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, admission, recovery, and related tasks.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Endoscopy setting
Qualifications
Endoscopy Nurses (RN) must have expertise in Endoscopy, including understanding physiology, pathophysiology, endoscopy procedures, and pharmacodynamics of conscious sedation anesthesia and analgesia.
