Schedule
40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts.
Pay
Weekly pay with direct deposit. Compensation is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week, plus a tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined). Includes reimbursements for meals, incidentals, housing, and travel.
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute‑care Endoscopy setting
Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing assessment and data collection, focusing on physiologic, psychobiologic, and cognitive needs of patients and families.
- Utilize assessment data to formulate nursing diagnoses.
- Provide technical assistance during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, ensuring safe practice.
- Maintain personal contact with patients and relatives, respecting courtesy, dignity, and privacy.
- Store, check, and administer medication in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
- Maintain timely and accurate nursing records while protecting confidentiality.
- Work with minimal supervision during endoscopic procedures, patient admission, recovery, and related tasks.
