Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,459 per week

About the role

Travel nurse RN Endoscopy position at Henrico Doctors Forest Campus in Richmond, VA. 13‑week assignment, 40 hours per week, 10‑hour day shifts. The role involves working in the endoscopy unit with Olympus scopes, OER elite washer, ION robot, and Meditech Expanse/Provation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Circulate and act as tech in two endoscopy suites.
• Perform advanced procedures such as ERCP, EUS, robotic bronchoscopy, and EBUS.
• Assist with standard procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravo, bronchoscopy, etc.
• Maintain patient ratios: 1:1 for circulator; up to 2 patients in PACU; pre‑op 1:1 (may rise to 1:3 if waiting).
• Work with unit secretary and tech; use designated scope washer for the shift.
• Follow scheduling requirements (6 a.m.–3 p.m., Monday‑Friday, based on assignment).
• Float to the ASC and surrounding facilities as needed.
• Adhere to patient experience and hospital‑specific requirements.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of endoscopy experience.
• Ability to perform advanced procedures (ERCP, EUS, robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS) per scope of practice.
• Credentials and experience exceeding 1 year as required by the unit.

Skills

• Proficiency with Olympus scopes, OER elite washer, ION robot.
• Skill in advanced endoscopic procedures: ERCP, EUS, robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS.
• Competence in routine procedures: colonoscopy, EGD, Pill Cam, Bravo, bronchoscopy.
• Experience with documentation systems Meditech Expanse and Provation.
• Ability to manage patient ratios and float to ASC/surrounding facilities.
