Travel Nurse RN - Endoscopy - $2,445 per week
Job Summary
Gastroenterology Endoscopy Nurse and/or Surgical Technician positions are available in the endoscopy lab setting within a healthcare organization located in Farmington, New Mexico. These roles involve supporting procedural activities in a busy endoscopy department, including assisting with complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, and bronchoscopies. The positions require clinical expertise in intra-procedural techniques and the ability to provide safe, efficient patient care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- RN degree for RNs and Certified Surgical Technology Program for Surgical Techs;
- BLS and ACLS certifications;
- at least 3 years of relevant experience;
- experience in Gastroenterology procedures such as colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, or bronchoscopy;
- procedural technology skills including biopsy, foreign body retrieval, clip application, and ERCP techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Intra-procedural level experience;
- gastroenterology specialty experience;
- familiarity with Olympus equipment and Cerner EHR;
- procedural tech experience.
Additional Information
- This role may involve floating to preoperative areas if caseloads are low in endoscopy;
- intra-procedural technical skills are essential;
- on-call duties for weekend and evening coverage are required.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in critical procedural actions and troubleshooting equipment with minimal prompting.

Pay package
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
