  • Location: LewisGale Medical Center
    Address: 1900 Electric Road, Salem, VA 24153
    Floor: 2nd
    Building: Main Hospital
    General Information:
    Number of Beds – 4 Endoscopy Procedure Rooms
    Number of Staff – approx 25
    Type of staff: Day Shift – Primarily RN’s, with scrub tech and scope room techs
    Night Shift – on call only
    Patient Ratios – approx 20-30 patients through the department each weekday
    Type of equipment - Olympus scopes, Provation procedural documentation
    EMR – Meditech
    Responsibilities:
    All RN’s are trained to admit patients, circulate and scrub in procedural cases, recover and discharge patients.
    Typical hiring profile:
    Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
    PACU or ICU experience preferred, but not required
    Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
