Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $3,175 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Middlebury, Vermont. The assignment begins 10/26/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health.
• Understand and apply triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 18 months of recent experience in an acute care emergency room setting.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required depending on the client facility.
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.

Skills

• Emergency nursing assessment and intervention.
• Triage and prioritization of patient acuity.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Ability to make rapid, accurate physical and mental health assessments.
• Knowledge of general and specific emergency medical conditions.
