About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Hopewell, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in the Emergency Department
- Perform cardioversion, central line placements, and manage cardiac arrests
- Perform IV insertions, EKGs, and other basic ER skills
- Conduct pacemaker interrogation
- Implement Code Stroke and Code Sepsis protocols
- Set up for suture/abscess procedures
Requirements
- Strong IV skills – adults and pediatric
- Excellent communication skills
- Trauma experience
- TNCC certification
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
Schedule
- Shift: 7:00p–7:00a, nights
- 48 hours per week (36 hours also available)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: 09/28/2026
- Every other weekend, at least 1 Friday and 1 Monday of a 4-week schedule
- No on-call required
- Potential floating to FSED (approximately 15 minutes away)
