About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment in Overland Park, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients as needed
- Document patient care using Meditech
- Adhere to AIDET protocol and maintain a positive attitude
- Work shifts ranging from 10a-2230 to 1300-0130, every third weekend, and mid-shift
- Flooding policy is rare and only if other staff have been flexed home
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- Current ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC certifications
- Prior experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and mid-shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Skills
- Proficiency with Meditech documentation system
- Knowledge of AIDET protocol
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment
