Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,943 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Augusta, Georgia. The assignment starts ASAP, lasts 13 weeks, with 48 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform point‑of‑care (POC) lab testing.
• Set up and adjust respiratory equipment for patients (with phone support from the main hospital).
• Assist with cardiac/vital sign monitoring, CT, X‑ray, and POC lab equipment.
• Document patient care using Meditech.
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and other staff per acuity‑based patient ratios (1:4, 1:6).

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, TNCC, and CPI certifications (Blue card must be on hand at submission).
